Xi Epsilon Programs

Thanksgiving Food Drive The Thanksgiving food drive was started in 1996 with the goal of feeding 7 families three meals a day for 7 days during the week of Thanksgiving. Each year the number of families that we have been able to help has grown. Through food donations and fund raising, in 2005 we were able to feed 27 families three meals a day for 7 days during the Thanksgiving holiday.

Men Who Cook The "Men Who Cook" scholarship dinner that started in the fall of 1999. The Brothers prepare their "specialties", and for a small donation, people may come in and sample a variety of tasty dishes including Lasagna, Fried Chicken, Curry Chicken, Gumbo, Ribs, Red Beans and Rice, Collard Greens, Mac & Cheese, Yams, Green Beans, Cornbread, Dinner Rolls, Sweet Potato pie, Pecan pie, various cakes, and assorted mints. The funds raised during this feast are used to provide academic scholarships to qualified and deserving students at the University of Missouri.

The Black & Gold Scholarship Gala The Black and Gold Scholarship Gala that received its start in the beginning of 2000. This banquet is where scholarships are presented to students, and ticket sales are used to supplement those scholarships and provide capital for the brothers to use in future service oriented endeavors.
